History

1994. Built as the "Meridian Challenger" for O.S.K.Lines under the nominal ownership of Curvet Transport S.A. & Nebula Shipping S.A. of Hong Kong.

1996. Nominal owners now New Asian Shipping Co. Ltd.

2000. Placed on charter to the French based Delmas Armanent and renamed "Delmas Forbin". Sold to the Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. under the nominal ownership of Queenway Shipping Ltd., Cyprus.

2002. Name changed to "Meridian Challenger".

2003. Placed on charter to Tasman Orient Line and renamed Tasman Provider . Swire shipping acquired an interest in Tasman Orient line.

2004. Swire shipping purchased the Tasman Orient Line and registered the ship under China Navigation Co. Ltd.

2011. On the relocating of CNCo. to Singapore, the name changed to "Kwantung IV" , ownership now China Navigation Co.Pte Ltd.
